About Tony
Tony (aged 54) holds a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science Degree from Middlesex University,
London and PCI College, Dublin. He is a pre-accredited member of the IACP (Irish Association for
Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abides by their Code of Ethics. He is married with a family.
His expertise lies in helping clients achieve clarity and assisting them to reflect on areas of their lives
that may be causing difficulty; along with exploring options which may help to bring about change, if
that is their wish.
He strives to provide a comfortable and supportive atmosphere of mutual respect, where clients may
express themselves openly and be sure of an empathetic and non-judgemental response. His
approach is ‘integrative’ - which means he draws on a background of different therapies (including CBT
and Person-Centred), recognising that no single form of therapy is best in all situations for all clients,
and that each one of the many approaches to therapy has some value. Therefore the sessions are
flexible and may be tailored in a way that is most appropriate for each individual client, depending on
their particular needs and personality.
He has considerable experience in assisting clients address and resolve specific problems, cope with crises, deal with work stress, improve
and maintain self-esteem, improve and develop relationships, or commence/continue their journey of personal growth.
